I wasn’t born as Simply Me.
I had to find my way back to the woman I was meant to become.
For many years, I lived the best way I knew how. I was a daughter, a partner, a woman who always managed to carry on. I cared for others, met expectations, searched for harmony, and tried to repair what seemed beyond saving.
For a long time, I believed that this was what love meant — trying harder, understanding more, enduring more, and fighting even harder for relationships.
Today, I know that one person was missing from all of this.
Me.
Not because I had lost myself.
Because, until then, I had never truly had the chance to get to know who I was.
There was no single event that changed my life.
It was a journey shaped by many small decisions, difficult conversations, moments of silence, tears, doubt, and the slow process of reclaiming my own voice.
One of the most important lessons came through a relationship I chose to leave. It was not filled with drama or loud conflict.
From the outside, it may have seemed calm. And yet, with each passing day, it taught me more and more about loneliness.
For a long time, I tried to save us. Only later did I realise that, in truth, I had spent my whole life trying to save everyone… except myself.
The decision to leave was not made in a single day.
My heart made it first.
My mind needed much more time.
It was afraid of change.
Afraid of uncertainty.
Afraid of what others might say.
When they finally agreed to move in the same direction,
I knew I was not walking away from someone.
I was finding my way back to myself.
That was the beginning.
Not the end.
Today, I know that life rarely takes something away without a reason. Sometimes the most painful experiences become the most beautiful lessons.
They teach us to set boundaries. To trust our intuition. To choose ourselves without guilt.
And they show us that putting ourselves first is not selfish. It is taking responsibility for our own life.
This is how Simply Me was born.
Not as a new version of me, but as a woman who finally stopped pretending.
A woman who is learning to say “yes” when she truly means it – and “no” when something no longer feels true to her heart.
Today, I am still on this journey. I am still learning.
I still have moments of doubt, fear, and uncertainty.
But now I know that I do not have to be perfect. I do not have to know the answer to every question. I do not have to earn love, peace, or happiness.
I can simply be.
I love the sun. I love the ocean. I cherish morning rituals, silence, and the moments when I can hear my own thoughts.
I believe that every experience – even the most difficult one – can become the beginning of something good, if we allow ourselves to see it as a lesson rather than a failure.
More and more often, I look at myself in the mirror with kindness. More and more often, I trust my intuition. More and more often, I choose myself.
And this is what I want to share with you here. Not as an expert. Not as someone who has all the answers.
But as a woman who, every day, is learning to live with greater courage, more peace, and in deeper alignment with herself.
If you are here…
…perhaps you, too, are at a point where something within you is quietly asking for change.
Maybe you are only beginning to ask yourself questions. Maybe you are reclaiming your voice.
Or perhaps you simply need a place where, for a little while, you do not have to prove anything.
If that is where you are… make yourself at home.
I’m glad you’re here.
